Tungsten steel: Hard carbide phase combined with cobalt to form a two-crystal structure. When used, because the COBALT-BONDED phase is eroded by cutting agent, coolant or lubricant, when the COBALT-BONDED phase gradually erodes, the hard carbide phase can not be bonded, which will accelerate the wear of carbide, so the wear of tungsten steel punch will be accelerated due to the loss of cobalt in the later stage.
Zirconia ceramics: It can avoid the erosion of the bonding phase and will not worsen due to the increase of impulse times.
Stamping life: When tungsten steel is stamped to 1.5 KKS or so, it has worn a lot. It needs preventive maintenance before stamping again, and with the increase of stamping times, the wear gradually increases.
When zirconia ceramics are stamped to 8kks, the wear is relatively small, the stamping quality is good, and the abrasion hardly increases with the increase of stamping times. The service life of tungsten steel is about 5-8 times as long as that of tungsten steel.
Stamping quality: Tungsten steel has large apron, small thermal shock resistance, thermal deformation, fracture toughness, and high quality ultra-fine tungsten steel can reach 9MPa.
Stamping quality: Zirconia ceramic has small sheath, high thermal shock resistance, suitable for continuous high-speed stamping. Lead frame (400-450 rpm), terminal (>800rpm), fracture toughness is generally 5 MPa, HIP can reach 7 MPa.
Wear resistance: ceramics are about 7 times as good as tungsten steel

It can process copper alloy sheet and ferroalloy sheet with thickness of 0.06~0.5mm precision high-speed punching lead frame, terminal connector and punch used in LED industry. The traditional material of punch used in our company is tungsten steel. The ceramic material we represent is made of hot isostatic pressing + ultra-nanometer fine raw material. It can replace tungsten steel punch, improve service life, reduce cost, improve production efficiency and create higher value.
