The higher the service temperature is, the shorter the service life of ceramic rod will be. Therefore, after the furnace temperature exceeds 1600 ℃, the oxidation speed will be accelerated and the service life will be shortened. During the use, pay attention not to let the surface temperature of ceramic rod be too high.
In the process of using, the resistance increases gradually because of the oxidation of the rod. In order to keep the furnace temperature normal, the use voltage should be increased. When the voltage is raised to the highest limit of the used transformer and still can not meet the requirements, the furnace can be stopped and the connection mode of the rod can be changed before continuing to use.
It is forbidden to use the ceramic rod under overload. If the rod is broken for some reason or uneven heating is found, incandescence or dark red phenomenon is found in some parts, which means that the aging of the rod body is not consistent, and the resistance difference of one section is too large, the furnace shall be shut down for maintenance and rod replacement.
Pay attention to moisture-proof during storage. In case of deterioration and deliquescence of the aluminum spraying part at the rod end, aluminum spraying can be carried out again after surface treatment. If there is no aluminum spraying condition, the aluminum foil can be wrapped in the aluminum spraying section of the rod for reuse.
